Ancient Egypt Anubis Sterling Silver Amulet Pendant by Viking-Workshop
Fulfilled by our friends at Viking-Workshop
Anubis is the Egyptian god of mummification and the afterlife as well as the patron god of lost souls and the helpless. He is is the Egyptian god of the dead and protector of the gates to the Underworld. Depicted as a man with the head of a jackal. He is one of the oldest gods of Egypt, who most likely developed from the earlier (and much older) jackal god Wepwawet with whom he is often confused.
Anubis was one of the deities that could also work against humans. He was independent, sometimes helpful, but sometimes punished humans as well. One of his main roles was ''The Guardian of the Scales''.
This unique handmade pendant features a round pendant showcasing the head of the Anubis on a textured background. A perfect pendant for your everyday wear.
